Winter at La Clusaz offers a broad range of exciting sports. You can enjoy the extensive ski area of the Aravis mountain range, which goes up to 2600m, through fir trees or in high valleys full of untouched snow.

You can practise your favourite snow sport from downhill skiing, freestyle or cross-country skiing as well as snowboarding. The Aravis mountain range gives you more than 220km of downhill ski runs from your doorstep. There are many off-piste opportunities for both skiers and boarders, and cross-country skiers are spoiled too with over 80 kilometres of pistes, just in La Clusaz itself.

The resort has extensive snow making equipment, which guarantees skiing in most parts of the ski-area from late December to mid-April.

Staying at the Chalet Alpage makes it easy for you, the ski lift of Les Laquais is just a few meters away, the frequent ski bus stops just outside the door or if you prefer you can also ski down the Green run, just at the back of the chalet, straight down to the village.

The whole Aravis area can be accessed with a single Aravis ski-pass or by separate passes for each resort. A shuttle bus runs between the resorts, linking them in only 10 minutes.

You can also discover numerous other activities and enjoy the beautiful area by using snowshoes, dog sleighs or the motorised snow-bikes or quads. For the more adventurous paragliding is easily available.
